good for office catering

yesterday i ordered some sushi platters for a team lunch. ezcater worked well, and the ezrewards program is nice. only minor thing is i wish the promo code field was easier to find earlier in the checkout process.

Great team lunch experience

I ordered a bunch of sandwich platters and salad bowls for a team lunch, and it was fantastic! Everything arrived right on time, and the food was fresh and delicious. My colleagues were super happy, and it made my life so much easier. I'm already planning our next order. Definitely telling everyone about ezCater!

Good value for a first order

I used ezCater for the first time for a training session, ordering individual packaged meals. I was looking for the best price, and the new customer offer saved me a good chunk of change. It was about $30 off my $120 order, which felt like a solid deal. The food itself was decent, nothing spectacular but certainly acceptable for the price I paid. Delivery was also smooth, arriving a few minutes early which was nice. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience for the savings.

Hey quick question, if I refer a friend to ezCater, do I get any kind of credit or points for that?

N Noor Marsh 1 month ago
I think so! I remember seeing something about a referral bonus. Check their site, it should be in the rewards section.

Yeah, I got some ezRewards points when I referred my old coworker. It's a nice little perk!

Is ezCater legit? Never heard of them until my boss mentioned it for our holiday party. Don't want to get scammed.

O Omar 1 month ago
Oh yeah, totally legit. They're like the biggest corporate catering platform. Used them loads of times for various events, never had an issue.

100% legit. Been using them for years at my company. They work with real restaurants and caterers, not some shady operation.

Does ezCater let you order from a bunch of different restaurants on one single invoice? Or is it one restaurant per order?

L Lisa H. 1 month ago
Nah, it's usually one restaurant per order. You'd have to place separate orders if you want food from multiple places.

One restaurant per order, unfortunately. That's been my experience anyway. Kinda annoying if you want a mix but it's how most catering platforms work.

Hey everyone, thinking of using ezCater for our office lunch next week. Anyone know how far in advance you usually need to place an order? Is it like a day before or more?

R Rosa Whitfield 2 months ago
Depends on the restaurant and the size of the order, but for anything substantial, I'd say at least 24 hours. Some places need more notice for bigger groups.

Yeah, I've had luck with same-day for small stuff but for a decent office spread, definitely try to get it in a day or two before. Better safe than sorry with food!

How does ezCater compare to like, DoorDash for Work? Trying to figure out which one is better for a regular corporate catering solution.

S Sam 2 months ago
ezCater feels more specialized for big office orders. DoorDash for Work is okay, but ezCater usually has a wider selection of actual caterers and their customer service for issues is usually better for corporate stuff.

I've used both. ezCater is definitely geared towards larger, planned events and has more dedicated catering menus. DoorDash is more for individual meal delivery, even if it's for a group.
